God With You Poem by Randy McClave

You don't need to go to church to pray
God is here with you today,
You don't need to find a church on a roam
God is always with you in your home.
During this or any dangerous time
Not going to church is not a sin or a crime,
Do not be sad and do not grieve
God knows that in him, you truly believe.
At home unto him always say a prayer
Because God is already there,
He knows what's inside of everyone's heart
From the very first moment it did start.
When you're sick and your all alone in bed
Sermons can be listened to, and the Bible read,
When soldiers in far away countries had fell
God was there with them, as well.
We all know that the church is God's house
Indeed the church is God's spouse,
But, when to the church we cannot go
As his children, God already understands and does know.
We don't ever go to church if we're at work or ill
Of course God knows our soul and our very will,
If we are not at church to listen and to pray
God is always with us anyway.
