God Will Reveal Himself

God will reveal Himself to anyone
All you need to do is but ask
And then wait in expectation upon the Lord
For He is up to the task
It may take a little while
Or you might find out sooner than you think
Keep your thoughts focused on God
For your miracle to take wings

He knows of your every day struggles
He knows of your heart of grief
Feeling despressed and out of sorts
Praise God He's the God of relief!
I know on my own spiritual journey
In my coming to know the Lord
I never had an introduction as such
As to what with you today I have shared

God is more real than real
He can only be known in the Spirit
Get a Bible and read God's Word
Read it and really hear it!
Let the truth grip your mind
And reach down into your heart
Change will come little by little
And from sin you'll wish to depart

I can testify to that
And so can my Christian brothers
Once you have known the forgiveness of sin
You will want for nothing other
For Christ will become your anchor of faith
Your blessed hope and praise God...your Saviour
O to be found in the safest of place
To be found in our blessed Lord's favor!

Isn't it time to bow the knee
When it's fit for the bending
Ask to Lord to save you friend
He has accredidation for heart mending
Just a simple prayer will do
So happens that I have one up my sleeve
God be merciful to me a sinner...
I believe...I believe! ! !
