WOW! What a thorough, uncompromised expression of faith. Yoir poem is threaded into a whole cloth of certainty of divine victory. I can't wrap my mind around such a holistic faith: there are too many shadows in the Jungian sense, and Gilgamesh is my benchmark for the Reality of the World. But we must confront the Human Condition and make our own sense of it.
Daniel, I have such great faith because of what happened with my near death experience. I tried to write about it in my succinct poems Soul's Journey - Parts I-V. Kerouac's brother Gerard had had these experiences prior to his untimely death at the age of 9. It's a shame that that hadn't happened to Jack.
