God's New Child Poem by ESPN CHICK

There she is walking down that broken road
All alone she falls on her knees
With tears in her eyes flowing down her cheeks

Crying out to God 'Help me please'
She's broken and bruised
With no one else to go to

She's begging God to take her in
Because no one else will take her for who she is
And she knows that God will take her anyway she is

Basically she's been through hell
I can't even describe what's she's been through
But God put her under his wings and told her 'Amy don't worry it's okay now you're safe and secure with me'

Now she's God's child and he's her everything
She wouldn't change anything
Because through that hell God showed her that she was never alone
He was always there keeping her safe and warm
All she needed was a breakdown to show her that God does know best
