I really like this poem Lora. The fifth stanza though could be improved from a man's perspective (at least mine) ... So I see each man as a precious gift, No real man desires a life alone, We have but to choose the gift we like best, To win his heart, just open our own.
Your words are a nice variation to my poem. I like them. Let the reader substitute your words for mine if they choose. Thank you, Brian.
A lovely poem, with a lovely message. I do believe we are a gift to each other, especially when given freely and unconditionally. But I'm not so sure about 'I love every man, ' some of us are content with just one.
Darlene, this is why I start the stanza with the words With proper intent. The love I refer to in this line is the same as in Love thy neighbor. I am all for loving only one man at a time - preferably only one man for ALL time, with a special love that is reserved for him alone. This special love is too precious and sacred to be given frivolously. Just want you to know I agree with you - thanks for your comment.
U are soo right and awesome here msn and woman are mutual gifts and we complement each other and neef this other half. Thid is such a creative masterpiece and heartwarming to both sexes ah I laud u fellow poetess. Men are wonderful I agree, we need them for a flutter and flattering gallantry.kudos.
If people really loved each other like this. The world would be nothing but love and bliss. This lovely poem shows how very luck you are. Very pleasant and well written.
