The master sends man to the earth
With big wallets on his shoulders
Full of love in one, hatred in the other
To pay off bills while traversing life
"Pay for love from the wallet of love
Pay for ill-will too from the same
The bag of hatred be opened for
morally and ethically inferior stuff"
Paying no heed to his parting words
indiscriminately man opens both
And spends on mundane pleasures:
God regrets his desperate attempts
I love the idea of God sending man to Earth with two wallets.... one filled with love and the other with hatred! In our journey we have to use both, not miserly but lavishly! Love is to give and purchase love and hatred to express our moral indignation over all the vices and wickedness of the world. Unfortunately we open our wallets to purchase the trifles of the world and God is disappointed! Profound and beautiful!
Thank you very much dear poetess for the comments. Where man is tempted to manipulate the blessings of God for serving his greed and selfishness humanity go devoid of consideration for the fellow beings. He distances himself from the paths streamlined for him by God
Man is selfish and this quality he won't quit for he seeks pleasures in wealth and power. Beautiful poem with a beautiful message. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you dear AKP.. Man's greed for wealth and power has turned him away from God and he is tempted to manipulate his chances to amass wealth and achieve power.

A brilliant and unique depiction of the flaws of humanity. Beautifully narrated and presented. I concur with the brilliant comments of Poetess Valsa.
