Sometimes I walk through life
with a quiet ache no one sees
Smiling when I'm expected to
laughing when my heart is anything but light
They say things
about who I am
who I've been
who I should be
But none of them really know
Not like God does
God only knows
what I've had to carry in silence
the battles I never spoke of
the tears I wiped before anyone could notice
God only knows
the weight behind my words
the nights I couldn't breathe right
the moments I almost gave up
but didn't
They see what's outside
but God?
God sees the bruises no one caused with fists
He hears the cries I buried under laughter
He knows what's killing me
what I'm too tired to explain
what I still can't name
But there's a love
a kind of love that only God can give
It doesn't ask for masks
doesn't shrink when I break
It stays, even when I push it away
It holds me when I can't hold myself
When the world talks
judges, guesses, and moves on
I rest in knowing
that God only knows
And somehow
that's enough

Well penned and powerful! It is true that we all have trials and pains that God only sees, and it is so true that there is a special unconditional love and care that he gives us that is never-ending and unfailing! Thank you for sharing this beautiful reminder of God's love!
Thank you so much
