God Left His Spirit

God left His Spirit.. Hallelujah!
To indwell every born again one
Bearing witness to the testimony
That we've believed on Christ the Son
And in full recognition of
Genuine repentance for our sin
He has not given us a Spirit of fear
But of power and of love for Him

A Spirit eager to surrender
To the purposeful will of God
And to bring us under conviction
Whenever we stray from the Lord
A Spirit that supplies much needed grace
When special occasions should arise
That brings us from our deepest sorrow
To offering back to God our praise

Holy Spirit my Comforter
Praise God You're with me everyday
Even when I'm at a loss for words
You come along by my side to pray
Supernatural in my natural
God in Spirit praise You Lord
Not a fuller Satisfaction
Divine Inspirator of the Word!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
