God Is Not A Christian Poem by Ojeikpo Elijah

God is not a Christian, He transcends all religion
His love knows no boundaries, it's a divine mission
He cannot be confined to one set of beliefs
For He is the creator of all, and all He receives
His presence is felt in every faith and creed
In every heart that follows His lead
He is not bound by rules or rituals to follow
For His love for us is unconditional, never hollow
He sees beyond the labels and the names we give
For in His eyes, we're all His children to live
He doesn't judge us by the church we attend
For He knows our hearts, and how we truly bend
His message is simple, love one another
For we're all sisters and brothers, no matter
God is not a Christian, nor Hindu or Jew
He is the universal force, pure and true
So let us break free from narrow-minded views
And embrace God's love in all its hues
For He is not confined, by any religion or clan
He is the all-encompassing, Almighty God, the great I AM.
