I may not seem to be the most religious
Person that you will ever meet
But life for me without God
Would be truly heart wrenching to me.

For He is in my heart all the time
He is there in the tiniest ways
I think of Him, He is the stem
Of the way I feel most days.

I never feel completely alone
Yes, family and friends dominate
But beside me though unseen
God is there, I cannot overstate.

I talk to Him every single day
I chat about one thing or another
He is there in case I need Him
But He never seems to smother.

So, my friend, if you feel alone
And in life it seems to be a trend
You will never be alone again
If you choose God as your friend!
