God Boy Poem by Melissa Hurst

God Boy

Red-bearded beautiful boy
With God as his passion
But with me he is coy
And teases with seesaw compassion.

Since October of the previous year
God boy has fueled violent fires
That make me ache for him near
To quench these fiery desires.

Since that Fall
Since that blessed Autumn
I testify that he has enthralled
Me and I rejoice with ecstatic hums
God boy has cast me into cyclical throes
Of wondrous orgasms of the spirit.

Red-bearded God boy has aroused me
with his chaste conversation,
Even now he sits by unknowingly
As I continually stroke my mind with imaginary sessions
Of innocent embraces
That lead to sensual places.

I have come to adore the small shepherd
The innocent boy who teaches his flock
And I am but a lowly leper,
Suffering by my love
For the boy with beautiful brown locks.
