Oh! Master Musician,
Fill in in this hollow reed of thine
Melodies celestial unheard unto this day.
Oh! Master Painter,
Delay not further to cast colourful rainbows
Across the clouded skies of my painful heart.
Like a thirsty hornbill
This little oyster has been in severe penance;
When thy heart throbs against mundane miseries
And it's resonance make the stars glitter
And it's glory showers on earth as full-moon light
Drop in into this oyster shell a dew drop
From thy heaven's holy Ganges
To turn it into a pure precious pearl.
' Delay not further to cast colorful rainbows across the clouded skies of my painful heart.' A magnificent line that holds us spellbound. Top Marks as always.
A very humbling and touching prayer. The God Almighty would be happy to answer your ardent prayer embellished with great metaphors, images and spellbinding poetic expressions.
A beautiful and touching prayer so humbly and lovingly expressed. Great opening stanzas with wonderful poetic expressions.
This sounds like the poems in Tagore's Gitanjali! Only when music fills, the hollow reed becomes a musical instrument! You wish to be a flute in the hands of God to produce enchanting melody! It is a great realization that only God can paint beautiful rainbows in our cloud laden skies! This supplication to fill your heart with music and light and transform you to a pearl bearing oyster is beautiful and has come from the humble heart of a devotee!
Thank you Valsa George. We feel to be something in the hands of God

God is great musician and a great painter too who paints colourful rainbow of one's clouded skies of painful heart. A beautiful prayer nicely executed.10
Thank you Kumaramaniji. We human beings are empty shells. When God decide whether to convert these shells into something worthy He put into them from his celestial stock.
