There is diversity and everything differs. But still we unite and win. This is true that all the fingers are not equal but all unite to work in a hand and work together. This poem is of great value. An excellent poem is beautifully penned.10

A thought-provoking write on the diversity of humanity. I cannot imagine all of us looking alike and thinking the same things at the same time, for then that would make us nothing but robots. All fingers are not the same, true, and each one is part of the whole hand that needs to work together. Applying that in the modern world, we need to consider each other's differences and uniqueness and NOT make demands that all others to follow what we believe, or behead those who refuse to believe what we want. That's the truth. |

Yes we as Poets may differ but we all are under one universe so we must strive to promote universal love through our writings. Very inspiring.

An excellent question you have posed here, why is it that all people cannot live in peace and harmony. We poets all have our own ideas, but basically it boils down to the fact that there is one difference separating people in this world. Those with evil in their hearts and minds are hell-bent on wrecking havoc on others, no matter how much others want and deserve to live in peace. As poets we all need to continue to write of a better world to be had by all on earth. Hopefully, this will come to pass one day. Thank you for another wonderful poem with an excellent message. An appeal for peace. If only the world could hear this heart's plea, we all (young and old) could live happier lives. So important. Thank you.

A great comparison! Let me quote the cliche- Unity is strength! Without unity, even ordinary functions become impossible! Can the thumb alone hold a spoon? Such a valid truth you have illustrated through a simple quatrain!

A great write! Yes each living is a treasure of its own, one that might hardly sparks alone. With consciousness of self, each finger shall naturally lead to hold the hands with all the others. A brilliant write, thank you for share!

Effective analogy of the fingers size and function is presented for these differences which we have created among ourselves...! ! !

The writing above is the language of humanity. We all know in unknown hidden layers of our hearts that humanity has no religion. Certainly, humanity leads to unity.
