Go Home Or Go Hard Poem by Esin-niobiwa Abass

I was told to go home or go hard
Hearing this makes me sad
I was very angry and mad
But i later realize (from this saying) there is nothing bad

A day I had a sleepless night
My eye were squeezed from sight
Began to calm myself and get things right
Then I realized my future is bright

I sat down and start to think
I got it right before my eye blink
This 'word' energized me and add more to my ink
I later turned the word to water and start to drink

I woke up the next day and draw my plan
I make it smooth like a frying pan
It's now cleared that I have something to learn
Because 'the more i learn the more i earn'

Embraced to live a successful life
I got married to my dream as a wife
Base on persistency with a sharpened knife
I promised to get my mum a nice car to drive

This process is just like a Rome
It was never built in a day like a dome
Going home it not my option
I will rather go hard to get my portion
