‘…voluptuous are our way of thinking hedonistic…’ In consumerist society it’s the magic mantra…and ads lure and conjure with out poring salivation of us…global village is clichéd...now can we think of global villa…? a grat leap forward But it mustn’t be lip-service-sermon…great thought 10++ Ms. Nivedita UK

it was worth reading because of the last line.being a Christian 'let the love and peace be sole motto our intention' is my 'philosophy' too though we may beg to differ in other ways. john o'connell

Doctor, your work has an lineal connectedness to the great Allen Ginsberg, which in high regard is a mighty compliment.

Such verses should belong to a great poet like you. A man owns great soul, we all are from the same mankind and we should treat each other in accordance with humanly values. mature poetry.

A great write with much truth. I like the last stanza-the world is a village.

I largely agree with my friend Carl….. However I would like to point out a flaw in the clubbing of Asian poets… From India we also have our revered Dr Reshma Ramesh.. a master of short poetry…and we even have a gentleman who has invented ONEREYU… single word poems… we cud debate that separately. Look at vidi, mamta, indira There are top poets in asia who write very concise and crisp poetry… Coming to this poem…yes a bit drawn out (I too am a culprit there) yet nice read…and has a definite theme Keep it up dr cheers

As seems to be the habit with many Indian and other poets of Asia, this interesting poem is a long one, ten four line verses. It tends to ramble a bit, as all such long poems usually do, and in doing so, the impact of the words tend to be lost along the way. Were this poem expressed in five or six verses, I think it would have been more effective. Still, it was an interesting and scholarly read but one lacking in emotion, a crucial element of all poetry. It certainly was not a bad poem, but I couldn't help feeling that it seemed more like a scholarly dissertation on an obscure subject and not a plea to draw attention to your subject. That lack of emotion sapped the power of your words in this poem, Dr. Kar.

'' An important aspect of Kierkegaard’s philosophy in this matter was his distinction between objective truths, which included the correspondence between facts and beliefs, and subjective truths, which include our passionate commitment to ideas and beliefs.'' It is an excellent existentialistic philosophical poem. The existentialistic ideas of this great poem have made an original and decisive contribution to aesthetic thinking Thank you for sharing, Subhendu. 10+++++++++ from Mari.
