I like the title - it refers to these stones waiting for the holiday season to glisten, as you mention in the poem. But the glistening also seems to capture the speaker's mood in talking about these with obvious knowledge, equally obvious appreciation and an impatience that just seems to part of dealing with something so precious to her. The excitement she feel spills over and fills the poem with a lot of energy.
