As on a secret, too wondrous
Come morn, to be made
Aware of quite; leaving to scorn
One colder, more forlorn;
When of its veil is lifted, sleep's.
Glowing for love's reverse
To this, his day, hoping's heart-snuffed
Which to no one confides.
Yet spared, angel-blinding, whom guides
The entire universe!
