Giving Up The Ghost Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Giving Up The Ghost

Hands stretched out to heaven besieged
To God or a damned deity?
In the name of capitalism communism socialism
Living in the land of make-believe dying for humanity
We are slaves of robots stripping us of our mortality
Waking up to lies within our truths
Liberating ourselves from dying dreams
Crashing waves of creativity cleanse
As we flow into the oneness of Soul
Hands stretched out to heaven within Spirit
To a oneness with all humanity
In the name of God within us all
Living in the dying ingenuity
Rising from the dormant selves enslaving us
Finding the freedom from within slavery
As oceans of inspiration and purity cleanse us
Giving up the ghost and revitalizing once again
