So cried out the unwise rich man
I can't have enough I can't have enough
So shouted the unwise rich woman
Giving up the love of this world

More houses, more mansions, so much more
I want more wealth, more power
So cry out the lovers of this world
Wanting more of this power, more fame
Giving up the love of this world

What about your soul, what about your soul?
Unless you repent - so is hell waiting
I'll be with my friends answered the rich man
I'll be with my lovers answered the rich woman
Giving up the love of this world

Embrace not the world with its deadly sin
Choose today while you are still breathing
To serve LORD Jesus to love Him always
Love the Son of God - choose Him today

In the world but not for this world
Rich but not selling his soul
Dominating and not dominated by the world
Giving up love of this world
