I used to think we were fated
You and me we both clicked
We just seemed like two peas in a pod
A wonderful two of a kind
We did everything to make it work
Like changing oil for the car to work
Efficiently and perfectly oiled for the road
Ready to ride with you to the ends of the world
We were so desperate to make it perfect
I changed everything that made me a mistake
I tried so hard to look perfect
I lost everything that was me that I completely lost it
I lost myself in order to be with you
Yet giving my everything ended up not having you
I lost you and I lost myself giving it to you
You gave it all and now we got nothing, I ain't got you.
