You express (in beautiful iambic pentameter and with gentle metaphor) this earth shattering moment when unconditional love shows its face and the world forever changes. 'Never cell so warm or sweet the chains Of jailor's irresistable commands.' is particularly evocative. Wonderful poem. love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

I think you have summed up giving birth so well here Fay, that rush of love a mother feels for her newborn baby is unique, Lynda xxx

Superbly evocative and wonderfully descriptive. A glimpse into a process that a man can never truly appreciate.

Amazing! Very well written about giving birth. I love this poem as a mother I can relate with this. When a woman gave birth there's no word could ever explain the feelings she had the moment she saw her child.10 for this. best regards, joan d.h.
