The emotions of this poem are like river passing by to the vessels of the heart
If you could only give me one chance If this be my last night by your side Find through my eyes a heart trounced Yet my love for you ever, abide For my love -trained heart has forbearance.-So much depth in love and a longing for those unrealized dreams and the moments that have slipped through fingers- - the poem aptly captures those emotions.Loved the poem.
Give me one chance To kiss your soft and tender lips To smell your hair and body fragrance Taste your tears on your cheeks To treasure you, in remembrance Lovely lines of a beautiful poem.
This reminds me of Robert Browning's poem... The Last Ride Together! Our lives could have been a joy dance If only you had given us a chance.......... We long for something, but life may present us with things different.... Yet we have to resign to our fate. A haunting sense of longing, movingly expressed!
