Gitanjali- -Poem-19

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
A trial with translation from RabindraNath Tagore's Nobel award winning book-Gitanjali- -Poem-19in to Odia language.Tagore's English version - 'If thou speakest not I will fill my heart with thy silence and endure it. I will keep still and wait like the night with starry vigil and its head bent low with patience. The morning will surely come, the darkness will vanish, and thy voice pour down in golden streams breaking through the sky. Then thy words will take wing in songs from every one of my birds' nests, and thy melodies will break forth in flowers in all my forest groves., ,

Hi Bharati, Namaskaar, Poet. Gitanjali is inspiration for many-a-budding poets. It was and it still is for me. Each gita of the book is a large ocean in itself. I am glad that you chose to translate this gita, Gita No.19, one which is loved most by every reader. Though I don't read Odiya, I do appreciate your effort. Bharati, please do not stop here. Please try to, all the gitas. For the benefit of all our fellow-citizens, who do not read English. All the best...

I would like to read all your wonderful pieces in due course! Your contribution to the field of literature (Both in English and Odiya) is praise worthy and commendable. May God increase your tribe! !

Read this poem Geetanjali - 19 by Rabindra Nath Tagore on both English and in odiya language translated by you. The translation in odiya language is fantastic and most appropriate. Top to bottom all lines are eauphonious and appriciated. Let me quote some lines here...

The entire Gitanjali exudes positive energy, though penned at time which was gllomy for our country and equally gloomy in the poet's private life: The morning will surely come, the darkness will vanish, and thy voice pour down in golden streams breaking through the sky. Then thy words will take wing in songs from every one of my birds' nests, and thy melodies will break forth in flowers in all my forest groves. Everybody bows his/her head before this extra-ordinary talent and exquisite poetry. Very proud to be borne in the same as this great human being was borne and had walked upon..
