Girls 'honouring' Boys Poem by james watkin

Girls 'honouring' Boys

Trust one, can we ever
With cool aplomb
To stand by, nor shrink from
What uplooms in
Will laughter bring;

For tree, and love's token
Bough-slipped, shake down!
Steeple; love's ringed renown
Fainting, hand across!
With no pride's loss!
