Girl With The Tattoos Poem by Randy McClave

Girl With The Tattoos

I knew a girl with a tattoo
Her name was Taylor Sue,
She had a tattoo on every inch of her skin
She always saw it as a artistic win.
Some looked at her and called her a thug
Others looked and called her a decorative rug,
But, she didn't worry or ever did care
As she happily had her tats everywhere.
I never knew her belief or even her race
Because, she had tattoos everywhere even on her face,
Was she white, black, red or yellow
No one including me ever did really know.
Whether wearing a gown, bikini, skirt or a dress
She always wanted her tattoos to impress,
And when she posed nude
She never looked or acted lewd.
Many told her that tattoos were so unladylike
It's like wearing a short skirt while riding a bike,
But, she never cared what people were saying or thinking
Because, she just loved the inking.
Her haired was dyed, and pierced were her ears and nose
Also her belly button and what else only God knows,
She was always proud the way that she did look
She always call herself her own coloring book.
Many years as she walked around her town
Many smiled at her while many others wore a frown,
But, she never cared what people thought or did say
Because, she said she'll have a clean new body in heaven one day.
When Taylor Sue finally died
She happily donated her tattooed hide,
Now she's dead and buried 6 foot in the ground
While her tattooed skin is in a tattoo parlor to be found.
