Girl To Woman Poem by james watkin

Girl To Woman

Classed among the innocents.
Doe-eyed, or a lamb, of more
Endearing-heard complaint!
Bounding in joy's naturalness.
Fresh-faced as daisied breezes;
With blameless unrestraint.

Then something quite unremoved
From coarse beasts! Avoidless in
Kicked-up bull, hormonal!
Screaming solicitous, fox-pitched.
Staring likewise ape's nerve through.
A jungle cat - sexual!
