Ginsberg Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Ginsberg

A writer of Howl, Kaddish, Sunflower Sutra,
Where did he move to
Reciting Om, Om,
Hari-Hari,
Om, Om,
Hari-Hari?

A Beat or a Beatle,
From marijuana, alcohol, pleasure
To where
Bewildered with America and Americanism,
Modernity and post-modernism?

The fifties were so, the aftermath of war,
Song, dance, love and romance,
The honeymoon was almost over
And taking to gypsy life, hippie culture
They thought of regaining peace.
