'devil is in the details' warns Kohli
'take no prisoners'-Shastri's homily
this can confuse our boys

to 'miss woods for trees' is not jolly

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Kohli- Virat Kohli India cricket captain
Shastri-Ravi Shastri India Cricket team coach
- -
The India team is in Australia to play 4 tests. Australia is usually a very strong team. Visiting teams are generally clueless on how to win tests in Australia. You can hear funny soundbytes from team management when they are clueless. A perfect candidate for a limerick!
1.'miss woods for trees': missing the bigger picture because they are too focussed on the details.
2.'take no prisoners'- be ruthless
3.'devil is in the details': used for saying that something may seem simple, but in fact the details are complicated and likely to cause problems (Macmillan Dictionary)
The Irish economy is performing strongly, but the devil is in the detail.
4.homily: -a tedious moralizing lecture.
"she delivered her homily about the need for patience
