Getting Together Poem by Randy McClave

Getting Together

Families have to start getting back together
Sons and daughters and father and mother,
Getting together for family reunions and Sunday dinner
Then laugh and complain about whose getting thinner.
Families got to get together as they once did
As I remember as my family did as a kid,
We got together for reunions and such
And those times in my memory I loved so much.
We got to get together for family dinner once again
And check and see how everyone has been,
As a family we got to get together will all adults and Juveniles
Let's get together for dinners, and not just for funerals.
