Congratulations for poem of the day.. Good one Love is the affection felt by the heart towards another... Can be with someone you have met or not met, it's the true uncontrollable feeling.

Most people have a life. The internet enhances communications between people and groups and is informative.we all wear masks of some sort and if someone wants to be more than what the mundane brings in daily life so be it.it is up to the individual..good poem..real interaction can be fun, too..

Is it really possible to fall in love with someone you’ve never met...Your question has the answer in it, .. yes, it is possible, otherwise we would not be drawn towards you and feel like commenting you on this poem and congrat you for being chosen.

Interesting poem, but people can decide for themselves what they want to do with their life, we cannot dictate to them what we want them to do. I follow the principle Live and let live. It's actually pointless and seldestructive to be minding other people's business all the time.

A very thoughtful commentary on present day relationships which are more often than not nurtured in virtual world rather than founded on life's realities. Thanks for sharing, Stanley.

In a really perverse way I kind of like this. The verbose prosaic lines arranged in sawtooth fashion give a visual allusion to the attack on mundane, quotidian facts. A rant. No positive answers to the observed situation, just cut 'em down and call °then° out in clear distinction to the values °we° know to be superior. Blah, blah, blah. It's decently observed, the moralizing isn't too over the top (probably because I'm generally in agreement) but the real worth to me is in the unstated questions that it makes me ask. What is Love? And that brings up an endless number of follow-on questions. To avoid judgement, accept diversity and promote empathy you can't just dismiss what you disagree with, but examine it and try to find it's intrinsic worth is, not as °they° value it but as you can welcome it into your own world view, expanding and adjusting to accommodate the discomfort. The whole question of °connection° is central to our collective, social-animal existence. Even if all the only connection is between neurons in our brains.
