You have seen an amazing and brilliant biography in film and brilliantly expressed your thought in this excellent poem. This is so sad that younger brother has suffered a lot. But overall this makes us emotional. Thank you very much for sharing this.
Her younger brother suffered a lot, but he was very religious and very jealous at her being a genius, since to his opinion women do not count in society at that time.He wanted to publish his book and all attention had gone to her.He let her put in an asylum for 30 years. He paid all the costs.
The sculptress was born in the wrong age but the right teaching was captured well. This is a mind-blowing pen poem. ++10
She was a very talented sculptress, her caring father sent her to a private school, so she developped her genial talents into the highest order. But the society at that time was not ready yet to recognize her. The society is the French Government in her time, but everywhere worldwide was the same culture: women must only stay at home, non education. We cannot imagine this!

That is so tragic, I think I saw this story on a YouTube video, she was also very beautiful. The brother suffering with jealousy because she was so talented instead of appreciating her talent. It's so sad how they used to treat people and put them in asylums even if they weren't crazy just to get rid of them. Thanks for sharing this tragic story. Love and blessings.
