Genesis Of ‘karma' Poem by Sachidananda Panda

Genesis Of ‘karma'

Genesis of ‘Karma'

Peace is not designed by molded steel
A premise made of blocks inanimate
Tall towers harbor, no peace of mind
Thou can't win the world by fostered lies
Skyscrapers seldom heads to greatness
A Place, where neither earth is yours
Not even the piece of sky over thy head
One is not disturbed by a little distance
But by the conceited arrogance
Swarm of loathsome miens around

Heaven is a perception
Peace! An Attitude
The world is not afraid of wars anymore
But the slabs of egos built on boundaries
It's better to walk alone on dream's corridors
Than to have witches as fond bedfellows
Time keeps the records afresh
Death smiles under the curtains
Dyed dishonesties may win accolades
For some time or a little more

Truth has colors of its own
Thicker than the hired lipsticks
When fidelity is committed to iPills
Loyalty is bartered as commodities
In the Bazaar of hypocrisy
Fortress of society crumbles at the edges
Spherical visions rot and dwindle
In the archives of lamenting sages
Doomsday is not an event on any calendar
The genesis is found on tracks we tread.
