The gemstones have a world of their own. Their value depend on its texture, hues and rarity. They are also believed to possess healing properties or said to ward off adverse impact of planetary positions. The poem nicely brings to fore the positivity associated with gemstones. FURTHERMORE: I LIKE the repetition of letters & words at beginnings of consecutive lines. i wonder if it is a feature of " sonnets" . I surely don't know, but i don't think so. bri :) In each of lines 8,10, & 11, you seem to use 2 words with similar/same meanings, e.g. 'delicately' and 'gently'. But I LIKE how you did it.
