Gathering Of Stones Poem by Ima Ryma

Gathering Of Stones

Rating: 5.0

We looked to heaven for a sign,
Which came and told us the task true,
A hard task but a task divine,
A gathering of stones to do.
Quite huge in weight, quite far away
The stones to gather by us were.
For years we labored night and day,
Gathering these stones to assure
That there would be in time and place
These stones to point to heaven for
Our belief in good healing grace
Be upon us forevermore.

After gathering the stones, we
Prayed and Stonehenge came to be.
