Garden Alcove Shrine Poem by james watkin

Garden Alcove Shrine

Standing a flower, and one
For poise, femme-statued
Of equal beauty, enfold
Lilium, Virgin

For love of him, smiling on
More, of sublime light
As imparts an inner glow
Is confided in.

For who's love, stilled grass upon
Honours what, exudes
Hush-knelt, our 'look but dont touch'.
Midst town's defiling.
