If ever a person was worth his 'salt' it was Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. His belief in non-violence and truth whilst living a modest and self-sufficient life must be a worthy beacon to all. Indeed a fitting tribute to a great man. Rgds, Ivan
rema... atimely intervention! ! I am dejected..frustrated..seing happpening s in Bangaluru..karnavati ...... the stealth of human flesh is yet to be blown away.. in Bangaluru...& Karnavati... (Ahmedabad- Gujarat) a place sanctified by HIS touch... regret dear Sabarmati... we have been experimenting with PEACE for last sixty... we are clueless..... topical...& thought provoking... sivan..
truth is bitter n the experiments naturally are more bitter...doesn't 'my experiments...' reveal that?
Experimentation with truth is a continuous process which can't change the impact of truth even if one isn't alive in flesh and blood and the fanatic who killed Gandhiji wasn't able to kill the philosophy of Truth which holds true till today. Lovely topic to write about. It feels so nice to know that people in today's world still do remember things he achieved.
the gandhi i know is 'the man of all'........great man..........and great indian!
Yet, even now Gandhi smiles in the Currency Notes seeing all these things! Indeed Gandhi spirit is needed everywhere now!
Gandhi is an embodiment of pain and stoic endurance. please read my poem 2020, and compare ramarajya and a nation after the nuclear deal.
Your poem & the reminiscences of Mahathma....my heart is filled with pain and vulnerability. What can I say? except shed a tear for that great man
End is inevitable, sweetness is hackneyed, those who taste bitter stand away from crowd, here the experiment though bitter is paradoxically sweet…thought provoking piece …. Abha
Rema, I love your write.. Gandhi gave and as so will expontentially grow for decades more.. ideologies and hope for truth... experimental or otherwise - it is a leading pathway.. aroha Deana xx
those who take the path less travelled, have strength of their convictions. Gandhi's experiments with truth lead to his death, but i guess he had no regrets. people on a mission do not care about consequences. Rema good reminder of his life and travails. Mamta
Bitter..........but for those who experiment have different taste bud It is sweet for them.for materialistic it is bitter.good reminder to those who have forgotten whatis truth..good write
Experiment with truth- bitter ........................................... The truth is bitter but is fine write... 10.... Thanks for sharing... Best wishes, Tsira
Wow, you describe him so well with only few words, the accent is on his mass media image 'Gandhi... half naked fakir in loin drape struggle, salt non cooperation non violence... It is hard to write about so charismatic person. You did it very well and very interesting. Gandhi a fakir.... incisive, i won`t foget it i am afraid :)
Well said Rema..A must be spoken about subject.Congratulations
Gandhiji and you selected this title very carefully....Not at all misleading... Touching composition.
