If ever a person was worth his 'salt' it was Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. His belief in non-violence and truth whilst living a modest and self-sufficient life must be a worthy beacon to all. Indeed a fitting tribute to a great man. Rgds, Ivan

truth is bitter n the experiments naturally are more bitter...doesn't 'my experiments...' reveal that?

Experimentation with truth is a continuous process which can't change the impact of truth even if one isn't alive in flesh and blood and the fanatic who killed Gandhiji wasn't able to kill the philosophy of Truth which holds true till today. Lovely topic to write about. It feels so nice to know that people in today's world still do remember things he achieved.

Yet, even now Gandhi smiles in the Currency Notes seeing all these things! Indeed Gandhi spirit is needed everywhere now!

Gandhi is an embodiment of pain and stoic endurance. please read my poem 2020, and compare ramarajya and a nation after the nuclear deal.

End is inevitable, sweetness is hackneyed, those who taste bitter stand away from crowd, here the experiment though bitter is paradoxically sweet…thought provoking piece …. Abha

those who take the path less travelled, have strength of their convictions. Gandhi's experiments with truth lead to his death, but i guess he had no regrets. people on a mission do not care about consequences. Rema good reminder of his life and travails. Mamta

Wow, you describe him so well with only few words, the accent is on his mass media image 'Gandhi... half naked fakir in loin drape struggle, salt non cooperation non violence... It is hard to write about so charismatic person. You did it very well and very interesting. Gandhi a fakir.... incisive, i won`t foget it i am afraid :)
