Futile Efforts Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

Futile Efforts

Rating: 5.0

The men heard the great speech of the great man in the auditorium,
They were extremely pleased
And promised to remember the great man's speech forever.
But when they came out of the auditorium,
They forgot all about it,
As the inferiority of the outside world compelled them to forget the superior speech,
Thereafter the men tried to remember it many times,
But all their efforts proved futile.

The memories sometimes only last while you are in the moment, once the reality of the living world kicks in you go back to trying Make a living and a good life.
