Oh, Con - this made me laugh a lot. The first thing my aunt said he she saw me new-borne was 'But what big feet he has! ' or words to that effect. My sister's third toe is longer than the rest - but I've heard since that it's called 'The Royal Toe', a sign of majesty. Apart from all of this lore - can't we love funny feet? and funny verse? This is wonderful/
