Full Stop! Poem by Namita Rani Panda

Full Stop!

Rating: 5.0

A full stop
A small dark spot
And that's the end of a sentence packed with meaning,
End of a bond so intimate and loving
End of a life full of life and unfulfilled wishes unending

Isn't the full stop like a round moon
eclipsed to reappear with much lustre soon
heralding a new beginning?

A full stop is like the black mole on your cheek,
so smooth and sleek
that rejuvenates my heart when weak.

A full stop is like the dp in WhatsApp and Facebook
from where you silently wink
to prove the bond, though full of life, is quiet like the orb
that seems apparently dead yet joyfully throbs!
