Frosting On The Window Poem by D.N. Rebb

Frosting On The Window

Rating: 4.0

There is white frosting on the window
What is hiding behind that window?
Could it be some smuggled contraband?
Or the drummer from that famous band?
Bad aliens who have crash-landed
Planet where Mr. Heston landed
High Heaven's magnificent staircase
Jack the Ripper, at last a solved case
Nova Scotia's Oak Island's abyss
Below the sea city, Atlantis
Oswald and Ruby playing poker
While John and Lem pretend to be her
A cure that would have repaired Terry
Such shrouded history's mystery
Like a devout Catholic's limbo
Hiding behind white frosted windows

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
it was a government building - with frosted glass that no one could see through - it makes you question what they are trying to hide
