Frost Poem by Gary James Smith

Frost

Rating: 4.5

FROST

Sometimes I've looked out my window
And have seen frost on my car
It gives me a tad of shivering
We know how cold some days are
But praise God I have a heater
That after the car has been running awhile
The ice starts its melting
My heart stops palpitating
And my face returns again to a smile! ! !

I've met some frosty people
Cold as ice if you please
It's a tad harder to warm up to them
When their heart's temperature is at freeze
But lo and behold through perseverance
And help from almighty God
I've seen some hearts through His melting process
And soften quite well to His Word!

What's your heart's temperature today my friend
If viewed from the outside in
Is there a coldness in your demeanor
In regards to God and to sin
There's the warmth of a Saviour
Whose love can heat any heart
And bring it one day to beat for God
Today...give yours a fresh start!

Hallelujah, what a Saviour!
