-- English poem by Frank C Yue
From Uncle Frank To Siu Mei Mei (Joanna Bennet) --
-- by Frank C Yue
This secular world is never fair;
So, take heed only from those you care.
For most things, simply one cannot control;
Let not others tell you when to 'sit' or 'roll'.
But I do let them keep their lies, laughs and jeers;
Slings and arrows could only give me more cheers.
(No, not tears --)
Sensitive hearts shall need extra armour;
Not all the paths lead to the rose arbour.
Now, let bygones bygones be --
For they are them, I am me.
Angels we all should be, could be --
Meanwhile, I'll be happy, worry free.
衹須理會有心人;
歡呼暗箭與明槍;
身心人各不相同;
