Yes, What we may hate most in life might be confinement and being stared at as an animal in a zoo....! Enjoyed this poem written from the perspective of a bird. I remember a bird having pooed on my head at a very critical time, some years back. I was all dressed up and travelling to a far off place to attend a marriage. To have a small break, our car halted at a shady place with tall trees growing. Then it happened. Some of it fell on the saree I was wearing. I felt so miserable then.
The world is running on a to and fro movement, may be piston of an engine or the wings of the birds, may be a withdrawal after a failed aggression, or it may be a to and fro movement of our passion! I don't know why I wrote these lines after reading this poem. I'll be thankful to my teacher if he favors me with his psychoanalysis.
Sometimes we are tagged, measured and given importance. Birds measure nature through chirping. Nature is ever beautiful and we feel the truth. An excellent poem is beautifully penned.10
BUT WHAT WE'D REALLY LIKE TO DO TO THEM IS …………………..PUT them IN A ZOO! ! Yes I like this, and put this poem too in a zoo.
