From The Mountainous Quarters Poem by james watkin

From The Mountainous Quarters

From the Mountainous quarters
A sound, volcanic.
Of clouds' upsurge, seething.
Cumulus, heaving.

Viewed through Time's ash, in wake
Of this wave of panic
Re-shaped, what across Bay of
Naples had spewed wroth.
