From The Heavenly Perspective Poem by james watkin

From The Heavenly Perspective

Without some tenderness extracted
Life, as tragedy, reviewed
Doubly unblest, darkens. How like
A book, with new light thrown upon;
Earth, with its settings, renewed!

Shadowed no more by Dread, but also
Of what, whose cloud campaigns in
Captivatingly rose with it! Coloured
The emotions, no longer of
Leaf-times, lovelier turning!
