A poem that makes the reader think. In my opinion this is the major quality of a good poem. I agree with the thoughts expressed in these nice verses

Your thinking about rain is right. Really it is the symbol of blessing. It is a great gift of Nature to us. In the beginning stanza you have so brilliantly inscribed about coming of rain as...Drops of rain / Jump from the sky to the ground..In concluding stanza you have so touchingly delineated about love and kindness of rain fall. A marvelous work.
