A Beautiful poem Heather. Flowers too require love and care to bloom to its full. Loved the imagery of words you used in this beautiful poem. Thanks for sharing with us.

My favourite lines: standing on the balcony looking down the garden unkept blossoms fading-wilting As the poet stands at the balcony and views the beauty of life as it 'blossoms'. the poet continues to appreciate the brilliant colours, which are the varieties of life and makes life interesting. However in the last stanza, we are told how suddenly, all these varieties and colourful imagery disappears. If interpreted literally too, it makes a perfect poem with nicely captured scenes. Well written!
