There is no reason for one to feel puffed up with self pride! After all we are all ordinary human beings with enough and more short comings! A realization of one's limitations itself is a great step towards betterment! With all limitations, one can still strive to be as best as one can! That's each one's mission in life and if one tries earnestly to fulfill this mission, the world and humanity will be blessed! No superhuman feat is expected of us! I have really enjoyed this beautiful poem of a realistic perception of life!
I exist within the huge circle of humanity, often bewildered, - - - simply one of woman-born, to live, to thrive as best I can, devoted to the ones I love, whose love is poured over me like fine oil.- - - - - - - -That is a beautiful proclamation of freedom from egotism. Daniel, you never fail to please your readers with your song... your poetry, your message, your thoughts strung like pearls throughout a time of musing about life in general and your life and my life in particular. Exceptional, as always. {I can say these things because I know your head won't get swelled up and float high above the earth! }. You're right, Susan, I have a healthy understanding of humility, which is really a reassuring and calming virtue. And when you belong to a community like ours at Poemhunter there is a group pride you feel instead of the egotist's solitary, isolating pride. That'd a genuine pride because it is diffused though our community.Thanks for bringing up this issue.

That's exactly what I wanted to convey Galina. It derived from the St, Petersburg attack and my helpless dismay that terrorists can be so certain of their goals for the world they will wantonly kill and terrify until they achieve (what?) their heaven on earth. Sic,
