God was right here
By my side
On the day
My sister died

I know that I
Could feel His presence
Even in pain
The moment was pleasant

The comfort I felt
Could come from no one else
Just the sheer relief
Made me feel like I could melt

The heavenly Father's hand
Laying upon my head
Withdrew all negative feelings
Without a word being said

He will always be here
Close at my side
He knows at times we're all weak
No matter how hard we try
