A positive and inspiring write. Thoughts spilled in a very subtle way. Thanks for sharing.
the coldest night the hottest smog inspires me to search a candle. How the opposites of life lead us to go on our way with determination.. like very much the contrasts that you use in your poem. tony
I like the tone, the wonderful ideas inside and the poetic style. Excellent!
Out of darkness cometh light. Yes, Chandan, this is a very good poem indeed. It strikes a deep chord with me.
in·gle·nook noun: a space on either side of a large fireplace.........this is a new-to-me word. there are many i don't know! ;) coldest night/hottest smog baffles me. hmm? favorite line(s) : cleaving the chest of the ubiquitous dark, I proceed… to kindle the inglenook.....BUT i don't understand your use here of inglenook. bri ;)

a wonderful poem of always looking for the light at the end of a tunnel? ...…………..well penned Chandan
Dear poet Tom, perhaps you're right. Suppose, the whole universe a collection of poems of God, then the first ray of light (His first poem) was triggered from the darkest tunnel of a Black Hole! I love your comment. Chandan
The indomitable spirit of a survivor is aptly portrayed in the poem. Beautiful and motivational. Thanks for sharing Chandan and do remain enriched.
I think positive! ! With the muse of righteous morals. Thanks for sharing this poem with us.

Thank you dear poet Tony for making such a positive comment. You're too generous in your words. Chandan
Hi Chandan. Very profound. The minimalist style leaves much room for reflection. What is the personal meaning of 'inglenook?
Well, to illuminate inglenook implies bringing a ray of hope/creation in a very dark environment. This darkness may be the deep frustration of an individual or after a fatal shootout or shooting a kind of darkness looming large in people's mind or the deepest quantum darkness prevailing just before the emission of the first ray of lightt of the universe. Chandan
Wow! A very vibrant and optimistic poem! Light and darkness are two sides of the same coin! However, your quest for the brighter side is brilliantly reflected in this beautiful poem! A very adorable style of writing dear poet! I would love to read many of your poems days ahead! (10)
Dear poet, thank you very much for your comment, which is always inspiring. Chandan

Dear poet Bernard, thank you very much for your inspiring comment. Chandan
Hi Chandan. The words paint a man of a very determined nature. It's almost breathtaking and worth waiting for. But I got lost in the inglenook and so I sought it: a nook by a large open fireplace also: a bench or settle occupying this nook. What did you find there, my dear man? Kindly tell. It's not the fireplace, is it? Something metaphorical?
